Getting started

Key points

  • You can explain your situation without knowing the name of the procedure.
  • The professional is assigned according to the area involved in your matter.
  • The proposal clarifies the work, fees and expenses.
  • Progress and outstanding matters are communicated throughout the engagement.

First, we listen to what you need

Your initial information should explain what happened, what concerns you and what you want to resolve. If there is an upcoming date, hearing or notice, mention it at the outset. The team identifies the relevant area and the background needed to arrange a consultation with the right professional.

A consultation with a clear purpose

The review helps us understand the situation, identify outstanding documents and examine the options. Depending on the matter, it may lead to a procedure, negotiation or representation. The terms and fees for the consultation are clarified when it is arranged; you should not assume that every professional review is included in the initial contact.

Organized documents

We request legible copies and complete materials, including dates and attachments. A list of outstanding items avoids replacing unknown information with assumptions. Delivery of originals, authorizations and access to third-party documents are coordinated according to the needs and conditions of the procedure.

A proposal you can assess

Before the engagement begins, we explain what work will be performed, what the representation covers and what expenses may arise. Excluded or additional actions and payment terms are identified. The fees page explains how we organize this information to help you plan.

Follow-up and completion

During the work, we communicate actions taken, observations and decisions requiring your involvement. When the service uses the private portal, access is arranged with the firm. At completion, we identify what has been delivered, which actions fall outside the engagement and whether further follow-up requires a separate agreement.

How we proceed

Your matter, step by step

  1. Preparing the engagement

Initial guidance on the service you need.

  2. Agreed procedures

Organization of information and definition of the engagement.

  3. Delivery and follow-up

Communication and follow-up appropriate to the agreed service.

Preparing for your consultation

  • A summary of what happened and the outcome you seek.
  • Key documents or communications.
  • Identification of the parties involved.
  • Dates, summonses and previous agreements.
  • The complete document and available attachments.
  • Name or reference of the matter it relates to.
  • Date, source and reason for sending.

Fees, expenses and timing

Our proposal identifies the work included, our fees and the external expenses relevant to the engagement. If another service or an additional stage is needed, we explain its scope and terms before adding it.

Timing depends on the documents, participants’ availability and the specific procedures. When defining the engagement, we distinguish our preparation timetable from dates that depend on third parties or an authority.
